Mango Salsa

  • 2 cups roma/plum tomatoes, diced
  • 2 ripe mangoes, diced
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup green chiles, diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt and pepper to taste


In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, diced mangoes, onion, jalapeño pepper, green chiles, garlic, and cilantro. Squeeze the lime juice over the mixture and gently toss to combine. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste preference. Mix well.

Allow the salsa to sit for about 15 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together. Give the salsa a final stir before serving to ensure even distribution of flavors.

Serve the mango salsa as a refreshing dip with tortilla chips or as a topping for grilled fish, chicken, tacos, or salads.
