Refund & Returns Policy

1. Plain-English Summary

In general:

  • Digital downloads and instant-access resources are usually non-refundable once delivered or accessed.
  • Assessments, reports, quizzes, and generated results are usually non-refundable once completed, accessed, or delivered.
  • Consulting calls and AI strategy sessions may be rescheduled with reasonable notice, but are usually non-refundable once the scheduled time has been reserved or the session has been delivered.
  • Custom projects, AI systems, curriculum work, publishing work, content development, workshop preparation, and implementation work are usually non-refundable once work has begun.
  • Physical products may be returnable if they are unused, undamaged, and returned within the time and conditions described below.
  • If there is a genuine technical problem, duplicate purchase, billing mistake, damaged item, or incorrect item, I will make reasonable efforts to fix the problem.

If something goes wrong, contact me promptly at nathan@nathanbryce.com. Most problems are easier to solve when they are addressed quickly.

2. Scope of This Policy

This policy may apply to purchases, payments, registrations, and orders involving:

  • Digital downloads, printable resources, ebooks, PDFs, guides, handouts, workbooks, and templates.
  • Assessments, quizzes, reports, and personality tools.
  • AI strategy sessions and consulting calls.
  • Workshops, cohorts, trainings, webinars, and speaking engagements.
  • Custom AI implementation projects and personality-routed AI systems.
  • Curriculum and content development.
  • Publishing, writing, editing, and creative services.
  • Website, funnel, automation, and technical projects.
  • Subscriptions, memberships, retainers, and recurring payments.
  • Physical books, printed materials, or other shipped products, if offered.

Some products or services may have different refund terms shown on the product page, checkout page, registration page, proposal, invoice, or written agreement. Those specific terms apply to that product or service.

3. General Refund Rule

Unless a specific product page, checkout page, proposal, invoice, written agreement, or section of this policy says otherwise, all sales are final once a product, service, download, access credential, assessment result, consultation, workshop, custom deliverable, or other purchased item has been delivered, accessed, performed, or made available.

I may, at my discretion, offer a refund, partial refund, replacement, correction, account credit, rescheduling option, or other remedy when I believe it is fair and appropriate. Offering a courtesy refund or credit in one situation does not require me to offer the same remedy in another situation.

Refunds are not provided merely because you changed your mind, no longer need the product or service, failed to use the product or service, did not attend a scheduled event, did not complete a course, did not implement advice, or expected a different result, unless a specific refund guarantee applies.

4. Digital Products, Downloads, and Online Resources

Digital products may include ebooks, PDFs, printable resources, worksheets, guides, templates, lesson materials, slides, recordings, audio files, video files, downloads, online resources, prompts, checklists, workbooks, and similar items.

Because digital products can be copied, downloaded, stored, viewed, or used immediately, digital product purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been provided, the file has been downloaded, the resource has been opened, or the delivery email has been sent.

Possible Exceptions

A refund, replacement, or account credit may be considered if:

  • You purchased the same digital product more than once by mistake.
  • You were charged incorrectly.
  • The file is corrupted and cannot be replaced.
  • The product was materially different from its description.
  • A technical problem prevents access and I am unable to provide a reasonable fix.

Digital product refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase unless a different period is stated on the product page or required by law.

5. Assessments, Quizzes, Reports, and Personality Tools

This website may offer free or paid assessments, quizzes, sorters, reports, personality tools, temperament resources, communication tools, or related educational instruments.

Because assessment results, quiz results, reports, and generated interpretations may be displayed or delivered immediately, purchases of these tools are generally non-refundable once the assessment has been started, completed, scored, accessed, generated, displayed, or delivered.

Technical Errors

If a technical error prevents you from completing an assessment or receiving a purchased report, contact me within 14 days of purchase. I may provide technical support, reset access, resend results, provide an alternate delivery method, issue a credit, or offer a refund if the problem cannot reasonably be corrected.

Educational Purpose

Assessment and personality-related tools are provided for educational, developmental, communication, training, coaching, and consulting purposes. They are not medical, psychological, psychiatric, diagnostic, employment-selection, legal, financial, or clinical instruments unless a specific written agreement clearly says otherwise.

6. AI Strategy Sessions and Consultation Calls

AI strategy sessions, consulting calls, advisory calls, review calls, planning sessions, and similar scheduled services reserve time on my calendar and may involve preparation before the meeting occurs.

Default Scheduling Terms

Unless a different written policy applies:

  • You may reschedule a session one time if you provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
  • Requests to reschedule with less than 48 hours’ notice may be denied or may require an additional fee.
  • Missed appointments, late arrivals, and no-shows are not refundable.
  • If you arrive late, the session may still end at the originally scheduled time.
  • Once a session has been delivered, it is not refundable.

If I need to reschedule because of illness, emergency, travel, technical failure, or another unavoidable reason, I will make reasonable efforts to offer a new time. If I cannot provide the purchased session within a reasonable period, I may offer a refund or credit.

7. Workshops, Cohorts, Training Events, and Speaking Engagements

Workshops, cohorts, training events, webinars, speeches, facilitation sessions, and similar engagements often require preparation, scheduling, planning, customization, materials, reserved time, and opportunity cost. For that reason, cancellation and refund terms may vary by event or agreement.

Default Cancellation Terms

Unless a written proposal, invoice, registration page, or contract states different terms, the following default terms apply:

  • Cancellations made 30 or more days before the scheduled event may be eligible for a refund minus non-refundable deposits, processing fees, preparation time, and expenses already incurred.
  • Cancellations made 15 to 29 days before the scheduled event may be eligible for a 50% credit toward a future event or service, at my discretion.
  • Cancellations made fewer than 15 days before the scheduled event are not refundable.
  • No-shows are not refundable.
  • Substitutions of participants may be allowed if requested before the event and approved in writing.

For custom workshops, trainings, or speaking engagements, deposits and preparation fees are generally non-refundable once planning, customization, travel arrangements, materials development, or scheduling commitments have begun.

If an event is postponed by mutual agreement, payments may be applied to the rescheduled date unless the written agreement says otherwise.

8. Custom Projects, Consulting, Implementation, and Creative Work

Custom projects may include AI consulting, AI implementation, personality-routed AI systems, curriculum development, course development, writing, editing, publishing, content strategy, website work, automation, assessment development, prompt systems, workshops, brand messaging, presentation development, learning materials, and similar services.

Because custom work is built around your specific needs and may involve research, planning, strategy, writing, design, development, meetings, revisions, preparation, and reserved production time, payments for custom work are generally non-refundable once work has begun.

Default Custom Project Terms

Unless a signed written agreement states otherwise:

  • Deposits, retainers, setup fees, discovery fees, strategy fees, and initial project payments are non-refundable once work begins.
  • Milestone payments are non-refundable once the related milestone work has begun or been delivered.
  • Completed work, delivered drafts, strategy documents, implementation plans, written materials, code, designs, prompts, workflows, and other deliverables are not refundable.
  • Rush fees, third-party tool costs, software fees, stock assets, subcontractor fees, travel costs, printing costs, platform fees, and other expenses are non-refundable once incurred.
  • If a project is cancelled before completion, you are responsible for all work performed, time reserved, deliverables created, expenses incurred, and commitments made up to the cancellation date.

If a project is cancelled by either party, I may, at my discretion, provide a partial refund or credit for clearly unearned amounts that have not been spent, committed, reserved, or applied to work already performed. Any such refund or credit must be determined in light of the written agreement, project stage, work completed, expenses incurred, and reasonable business judgment.

No Guaranteed Business Outcome

Custom work does not come with a guarantee of specific business results, income, traffic, sales, rankings, audience growth, conversion rates, grant funding, client acquisition, AI performance, user adoption, or other outcomes unless a written agreement expressly provides such a guarantee.

9. Monthly Retainers and Ongoing Advisory Services

Monthly retainers, advisory services, production retainers, implementation retainers, and ongoing consulting arrangements reserve availability, attention, and capacity for you or your organization.

Default Retainer Terms

Unless a written agreement states otherwise:

  • Retainer payments are billed in advance.
  • Retainer payments are non-refundable once the billing period begins.
  • Unused time, calls, reviews, or services do not automatically roll over to future months.
  • You may cancel future retainer billing by giving written notice before the next billing date.
  • Cancellation does not create a refund for the current billing period.

If a retainer includes a minimum term, early cancellation may require payment of the remaining minimum commitment, as described in the written agreement.

10. Subscriptions, Memberships, and Recurring Payments

This website may offer subscriptions, memberships, paid resources, recurring access, online libraries, learning materials, protected content, or other recurring-payment products.

Default Subscription Terms

Unless a product page, checkout page, membership agreement, or subscription agreement says otherwise:

  • Subscription and membership fees are billed in advance.
  • You may cancel future renewals through your account area, payment processor, or by contacting me.
  • Cancelling a subscription stops future billing but does not automatically refund past payments.
  • Partial-month or partial-period refunds are not provided unless required by law or expressly stated in the subscription terms.
  • Failure to use the membership, access the content, complete materials, or log in does not create a refund right.

If you believe you were billed after properly cancelling, contact me promptly with your name, email address, order number, and cancellation details.

11. Courses, Classes, and Learning Programs

Courses, classes, learning programs, training libraries, cohort programs, online lessons, and similar educational products may include live instruction, recorded content, downloadable materials, worksheets, assignments, prompts, assessments, discussion areas, or other resources.

Default Course Terms

Unless a specific course or program states different terms:

  • Self-paced course purchases are non-refundable once access has been granted.
  • Live course or cohort purchases are non-refundable once the course begins.
  • Failure to attend, complete, watch, download, participate, or implement the material does not create a refund right.
  • If a course is cancelled by me and not rescheduled, I may provide a refund, substitute course, credit, or alternate delivery option.

Educational products do not guarantee specific business, income, employment, relationship, spiritual, psychological, technical, or personal outcomes.

12. Physical Products, Books, and Shipped Items

If physical products are sold through this website, such as printed books, workbooks, cards, materials, or other shipped items, they may be eligible for return if they meet the conditions below.

Return Conditions

Unless a product page says otherwise, physical products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if:

  • The item is unused.
  • The item is undamaged.
  • The item is in its original condition.
  • The item includes all original packaging, inserts, accessories, or included materials, if applicable.
  • You contact me before sending the item back and receive return instructions.

I reserve the right to deny a return or reduce a refund if an item is used, damaged, incomplete, altered, missing parts, missing packaging, returned late, or returned without approval.

Custom-made, custom-finished, personalized, signed, special-order, clearance, final-sale, downloadable, digital, or perishable items are generally not returnable unless defective or required by law.

13. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive a physical item that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact me within 7 days of delivery.

What to Include

Your message should include:

  • Your name.
  • Your email address.
  • Your order number, if available.
  • A description of the problem.
  • Clear photos of the damaged, defective, or incorrect item.
  • Clear photos of the packaging, if the item was damaged in shipment.

Depending on the situation, I may offer a replacement, exchange, refund, partial refund, store credit, or other reasonable remedy.

14. Shipping, Delivery, and Return Shipping

Shipping times, delivery estimates, carriers, and fulfillment methods may vary depending on the product, destination, inventory, printer, fulfillment partner, and shipping provider.

If a shipping timeframe is provided, I will make reasonable efforts to meet that timeframe. If no shipping timeframe is stated, I will make reasonable efforts to ship physical merchandise within 30 days or provide notice, a revised timeframe, cancellation option, or refund as required by applicable law.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to my error, a defective item, an incorrect item, or a legal requirement:

  • You are responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Original shipping charges are not refundable.
  • You are responsible for properly packaging the returned item.
  • You are responsible for loss or damage during return shipping.
  • I recommend using a trackable shipping method.

Do not send a return without contacting me first. Returns sent without approval may be refused, delayed, or ineligible for refund.

15. Duplicate Purchases, Billing Errors, and Unauthorized Charges

If you believe you made a duplicate purchase, were billed incorrectly, or see an unauthorized charge, contact me as soon as possible at nathan@nathanbryce.com.

What to Include

Please include:

  • Your name.
  • The email address used for purchase.
  • The order number or invoice number.
  • The date of the charge.
  • The amount charged.
  • A brief explanation of the issue.

If a billing error or duplicate purchase is confirmed, I may issue a refund, partial refund, credit, or correction.

16. Technical Problems

If you cannot access a purchased digital product, assessment, course, download, report, membership, or other online resource because of a technical issue, contact me within 14 days of purchase.

I may ask for information needed to troubleshoot the issue, such as your order number, account email, browser, device, screenshot, error message, or steps you took before the problem occurred.

If the problem is caused by this website or my delivery system, I may provide a corrected file, reset access, resend a link, provide alternate delivery, issue a credit, or offer a refund if a reasonable solution is not available.

Refunds are generally not provided for problems caused by your device, browser settings, internet connection, email filters, third-party software, failure to follow access instructions, or incompatibility not caused by this website.

17. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge, product, service, subscription, or order, please contact me first so I can try to resolve the issue.

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting me, I reserve the right to suspend account access, pause services, cancel pending work, revoke licenses, restrict future purchases, or provide documentation to the payment processor showing the product or service ordered, delivered, accessed, performed, or made available.

Fraudulent chargebacks, false claims of non-delivery, or misuse of refund processes may result in loss of access to products, services, subscriptions, or future purchases.

18. How to Request a Refund, Return, Credit, or Exchange

To request a refund, return, credit, exchange, cancellation, or rescheduling, contact me at:

nathan@nathanbryce.com

What to Include

Please include:

  • Your full name.

  • The product or service purchased.
  • The purchase date.
  • The reason for the request.
  • Photos, screenshots, receipts, or error messages, if relevant.

I may request additional information to evaluate your request. Failure to provide requested information may delay or prevent processing.

19. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved, it will usually be issued to the original payment method. Processing times vary depending on the payment processor, bank, credit card company, and payment method.

Once I issue a refund, it may take several business days or longer for the credit to appear on your statement. I do not control bank or payment processor timelines.

If the original payment method is unavailable, expired, closed, or otherwise unable to receive funds, I may offer an alternate refund method or account credit at my discretion, subject to payment processor rules and applicable law.

20. Non-Refundable Items and Fees

Unless required by law or expressly stated in writing, the following are generally non-refundable:

  • Digital downloads after access or delivery.
  • Assessment results, quiz results, reports, or generated interpretations after access or delivery.
  • Completed consulting calls or strategy sessions.
  • Missed appointments and no-shows.
  • Custom project deposits after work begins.
  • Milestone payments for work already started or delivered.
  • Retainer payments for the current billing period.
  • Subscription or membership fees for past billing periods.
  • Workshop preparation fees.
  • Rush fees.
  • Setup fees.
  • Administrative fees.
  • Payment processing fees, where not returned by the payment processor.
  • Shipping fees, except where required by law or caused by my error.
  • Third-party costs, software fees, stock assets, printing fees, travel costs, subcontractor costs, and other expenses already incurred.
  • Custom-made, personalized, signed, special-order, clearance, or final-sale items.

22. Changes to This Policy

I may update this Refund & Returns Policy from time to time to reflect changes in products, services, payment systems, legal requirements, business practices, or customer support processes.

When I update the policy, I will revise the “Last Updated” date above. The version in effect at the time of purchase generally applies to that purchase unless a different written agreement says otherwise.
